Itch v.0.6.40 | Gil Day 6 | Brief report
Gooooood day, everyone, andeh here! It has been a while since I wrote anything like this for the devlog due to how busy I've gotten lately, and that I'm prioritizing on my Patreon posts (I'm sorry). But without further ado...
Gil day 6 update is here!
*Insert fanfare music here*
Since this one is released later than Gil's day 7, you guys get to see what I've prepared for my patrons...at least design-wise, not the story related to day 7, duh.
Here are some things you need to be mindful of:
- Parker day 2 and day 3 have been reworked. Mostly variables changes/additions, and story is better written now. I didn't change any of the plots, no worries, but it's better that you replay it...for your own sake later on (I'm talking about day 7)
- About screen has been edited, it's nothing much, but it was needed to fit the theme of the new UI.
- Save screen has been edited, you will be able to change the save name under the timestamp, and you'll be able to see which day you're at within your save. Here's an example:
Note: You'll need to tap on that pen button to change the save name on Android devices; because it brought up the keyboard every time you opened the save game page when I didn't implement that thing.

it keeps telling me things play differently on gil route on day 6 idk wat im doin wrong hel
what do you mean by that? i think i would suggest going through the different options again or maybe restart the story? im not to sure but i just redo mine because of the edits. (Hope it helps?)
Here are the choices you make with gil in each day:
Day 1:
-This is embarrassing
Day 2:
-Salad
-Decline payment
-Text back
Day 3:
-Try and cheer him up
-Humor him
Day 4:
-Don't open the box
-1tbsp
-Pour in the orange juice mix, then cook until thickened and bubbly
Day 5:
-Act determined
-Go home (you can go to the playground instead but going home first will trigger extra dialogue, don't worry you'll able to go to the playground afterward)
-Feel awful
-Pick up
-Go to the playground
-Say you like him
-Admit
Day 6:
-choosing "admit" triggers gil's jealousy of lars which might impact future days
and that's about it

i too question that. but i believe you might have to do the routes first and would be added in from the future updates to the game itself
Yeah I played Lars route and Gil route and I had unlocked episode after playing Lars route (or it was just added to the game at the same time lol) and yesterday I played Gil route and I expected to unlock new episode but nothing happened :0 And now I'm confused a little xD
Na. its most likely an update to me XD. i played Lars route multiple times. after the last update, I saw that icon so it leads me to believe that its an update. even the ending telling us to go play Lars route
So all we can do is wait for other episodes :3 Still glad that it's in the game, uncovering your past through memories of others. I love this idea especially after ending of day 6 Gil route *w*
I agree with you on that Front. It does gives us more of an insight to the Characters we choose, it would be more on how they view things i think? Also it also lines up with the story itself while able to still keep in the plot. Kudos to Andy and the others on this Visual Novel. I'm really looking forward to the future updates like Parker and Anders. (I'm a Gil Boyo Fan, I really love his personality and looks XD)
