not trying to spoil much here but my Mark route is currently stopped after he comes to our house crying. If u're there I guess your version is up to date but if not then maybe try and reinstall the latest version
there's currently nothing in Mark's phone right now, but if you dig into the game's file and put in the code, it'll say something like 'there's nothing here' and continue the day normally

Copy old save -> paste in any folder -> delete game then install new build -> In the new build create atleast one save file (so that a save folder will appear) -> paste your old saves to the new 'save' folder.
Ah, you see in pc you don't have to reinstall it (as everyone says) and since I am playing on mobile, small tip just copy your save files in place it on a different folder then you can rreinstall the game. To place your saves back, save at least one file to the reinstalled one, from there just copy the past files back to the new one.

In computer there will be a "saves" folder at the game location if I'm not wrong. You just need to copy the folder to the new version of the game if i'm not wrong! (I play on android lol don't mind me)
At mobile, inside your Android folder (you'll need to dig into your file browser a bit to find it) there's local saves of all your games and apps! You just need to copy the "saves" folder into the new version after you install it! But if you just download and install the new version, unless that appears something as "unable to install the newer version" or whatever like that, you won't lose your game files!
I downloaded the game in computer as well just in case:
Computer:
Your saves folder will be at: Game > Saves
Android:
Open the file explorer (files app, or any name like that) or via your computer... Works as well!
Go to the following folders:
Android > data > com.andehpi.ac > files > saves
(Pretty much every VN (and app) have the same way to save the files, you'll just need to find the main folder that's the "com.andehpi.ac" that will be another one for each app...)
Some folders can be hidden, so try to see if there's an option to see hidden folders if you can't find anything :D
For the back up: (the idea is the same for both systems)
Copy the saves folder into another folder where you want to have the back up
Uninstall the old version
Install the new version
Paste the backup in the same folder (saves folder) you have inside the new installation

How to get the choice with trying to unlock Mark's phone? (I got it once and wrote random numbers just to see what happens if I fail, and after I failed and rolled back to the choice point it just disappeared and got replaced with Walter saying that he shouldn't mess with Mark's phone) (Mark day 7)
The guide is not updated to the most recent version of the game (Gil's route has changed a bit here and there) but I could get the same like and love levels in my new playthrough
As a tip: Take some care in day 4 at the place where you want to go... Save first and try the variations... But i think you'll be fine with 2 of the 3 choices that you can have there...

I'll try to make it simple.

dw, renpy's save file is saved locally!
meaning if you delete the game and reinstall it (or update it), you saved file is still there and you can continue where you left off
I don't think the saves will be stored if you uninstall and re install...
In any case, doing a Back up for the saves is best in Android 😉 just in case XD
