Don't know anything about genshin impact but one thing i know about adventure game is you need to grind and lvl up
Try to enjoy the game rather than blindly following the quests, take a few detours when you see chests~
Also try not to focus too much on what characters people say are good or bad, it doesn't really matter early on in the game!

When I was starting, I used mechanical pen/pencil, HHDZ, Graphite (charcoal) pencil, MP-205, and a set of charcoal and soft water color pencil.
Paper is random, I used oslo paper before.
If you're asking for price, charcoal pencil (also color pencil) is my recommendation for you.
Pencil work is not a problem for me, I asked as a draft drawing.
